Our Foundation

The Ben Brown Physical & Occupational Therapy Scholarship was founded by the Florida State Elks Association and Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services which understood the unique financial needs of college students working toward their graduate degree in physical or occupational therapy programs.

Financing a college education can be a challenge, but it is not impossible. The Ben Brown Physical & Occupational Therapy Scholarship (BBPOTS) allows college graduates the ability to alleviate the financial impact of furthering their education.

This scholarship ensures that talented, highly motivated students have an opportunity to follow their passion, to succeed and to study at a world-class Florida educational institution.

Florida Elks Children's Therapy Services

The goal of Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services is to provide free physical therapy and occupational therapy to Florida children who do not have easy access to these services. These services are provided in the patient’s home without regard to the ability to pay for such services.

 

BBPOTS Application opens September 1, 2023.
